    friendly owner

Just a reliable pick for a short visit in Risley with real value for money. The owner was really friendly and made us feel at home, even giving us extra towels for our dog. Make sure to enjoy the lovely local walks nearby.

The room was spotless and compact and what's more - included shower facilities, a hairdryer and bath sheets. The location was handy, in the field behind especially the guinea fowl, and the bed comfortable. Moreover, it's close enough to lovely conservatory, a pub and local restaurant.

    comfortable bed
    great shower
    shared garden

Had an awesome one-night stay! The bed comfort blew me away. The shower pressure was great. Loved the cozy courtyard for my morning coffee. Just a minor bummer about the shared garden, but everything else was spot on!

The unit we got was neat with tea, lovely decor, as for instance. The location was wonderful and incredible, close to the conservatory, a local pub a mere 100 m down the road and lovely gardens.

    wine glasses
    bathroom products
    small bed
    poor ventilation
    missing tumblers

Crockery and cutlery for two included huge wine glasses, perfect for a cozy evening. Individual bathroom products provided a nice touch that felt personal.

The bed felt a smidge small for a comfortable sleep for two. Ventilation in the ensuite shower room left the atmosphere a bit damp, which seemed to attract some unwanted pill bugs. Also. The current lack is a minor inconvenience.

amazing guest house with friendly host and a lovely outdoor space for relaxation

The room was well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and the bathroom sparkled. Communications were great. Morning coffee on the patio was good.

    great location
    friendly staff
    fresh breakfast
    ventilation issues

Great location with a lovely patio overlooking the beautiful garden. The fresh local breakfast products were a good touch, and dining in the conservatory made for a cozy atmosphere. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The shower room could benefit from better ventilation, which would help with moisture buildup.

    clean room
    beautiful surroundings
    small room
    firm mattress
    no breakfast option

The room was impeccably clean and well-planned. The outdoor seating area was a fantastic spot to unwind after a day of exploring, and the nature walks nearby enhanced the overall experience. The mattress could use some additional softness for a more restful sleep, and the room size felt a bit cramped for the price paid. A breakfast option could enhance the value of the stay significantly.

    comfortable room
    easy communication
    great amenities
    poor ventilation

I stayed for 1 night at the risley and was kinda surprised. The room was super comfortable and had all the essentials like a fridge and microwave. Hope's communication made my late arrival hassle-free with the key code instructions.

ventilation in the shower room wasn't great.
